Under the influence of technology, humans are gradually becoming "shadows" in the ecosystem, with our actions mirrored back to us through technological systems. We now find ourselves in a tech-driven world where humanity’s role is increasingly blurred, even "insignificant." In this future ecology, humans may no longer lead but instead become passive observers, exposing our behaviors and needs under the watchful "surveillance" of technology, which quietly develops its own "will" in our neglect.

Through a narrative interactive installation, I reflect on this shifting dynamic, exploring how technology not only responds to us but also "observes" us in return. The installation avoids delivering a simple cautionary message, instead revealing a subtle and intertwined relationship: we are both the creators of technology and the subjects of its hidden observation. In this evolving ecosystem, humans are no longer sole controllers but also observed and increasingly marginalized, as the boundaries between humans, technology, and the environment blur into a complex symbiosis.
